Manage 1Password Environments and locally mounted .env files from an MCP client. The desktop app prompts for authorization and does not return stored secret values to the agent.
Local setup required. Install the 1Password desktop app, create a 1Password Environment, and enable Settings > Developer > Integrate with MCP clients. Configure a local stdio client with the command 1password-mcp, then approve access in the desktop app. Remote-only clients are not supported. Enterprise administrators may disable local MCP access.
